Since our last post from the project site, things have been moving forward on schedule; the majority of demolition is complete at the interior, opening the great room to the kitchen beyond and rear yard.
With any renovation, remodel or building project, repurposing existing materials, along with the efficient use of any new materials, is an important factor in the effort to minimize waste and maximize value during construction. Since we are often involved in a project from start to completion, this idea extends to the interior design phase as well, including furniture selection and placement.

As summer is winding down, we're gearing up for MYD's newest project- an addition and renovation to this hillside home in North Laguna Beach, featuring incredible panoramic views of the coastline and downtown.
