For a bit of mid-week inspiration, here's another of our favorite architectural mapping projects, bringing historic architecture to life digitally with sound, projection, movement and light.

From creator Diez, the video below is a preview entry for the 2010 French national cultural event 'Imaginez Maintenant'; the location is the Metz railway station, built in 1908 and a registered historic monument in France since 1975. If you're having trouble with the display, click here to view the film on the web.

It's pretty fascinating to see today's digital technology applied to such historic sites, creating a new way of visualizing and re-imagining places, while transforming a public space into a unique, beautiful and innovative multimedia art installation.
