If you haven't seen this award-winning short by design studio Musuta Ltd., it's definitely four minutes well-spent... Combining hand-drawn and digital art, as well as sound and visual effects, the film conveys a distinctly unique perspective. A truly inspired visualization, Urban Abstract offers a multi-dimensional interpretation of the urban landscape.
Less is More: Modular Minimalism
Used in reference to the architecture and design philosophy of architect Mies van der Rohe, the famous adage, 'less is more' aptly captures both the physical and ideological aspects of the modern architecture movement. We thought we'd take a look at how that translates into the latest iteration of his famous Farnsworth House... by none other than LEGO.
