MYD's latest residential project is currently in schematic design, with preliminary floor plans completed last week... This new single-family home is being designed with site, context, program and access as initial primary considerations.
An updated floor plan means... updated renderings!
For this new residential project, lot-specific development standards and site constraints played a critical role in determining design opportunities and constraints.
This meant adjusting the design to efficiently maintain the established program components within these city-mandated guidelines, while still providing a high level of design integrity, as well as functionality.
This latest iteration allows for the same square footage and room count as the original schematic concept, while careful material selection and variation in wall planes enable the same level of visual interest and aesthetic value at the exterior...
