A few updates from MYD's project site in Fullerton, Orange County...

We've looked at the design process and subsequent construction progress for this project over the past year, and things are really starting to come together at the interior of our Fullerton residential design, one of the few new homes in the area, at a unique site with great views.

Since working through the preliminary concept design, interiors, and moving into initial site work, through ongoing construction, we've been updating our project page, as well as sharing construction images here at MYD blog.

Last time we took a look at the construction progress at our Fullerton project, the second floor was being framed, and the roof trusses were next in line. Now that they’ve been installed at the site, it shouldn’t be long before we’ll be sharing interior images.

OC Construction: 2nd floor framing

It's been a few weeks since our last construction progress update for MYD's new residence in Fullerton, Orange County...

Since sharing photos from the preliminary stages of the building process, including the foundation pour + site preparation, as well as early framing images, recent developments at the jobsite have started to really allow the building to take shape and bring the design to life.

With first and second floor framing complete, the interior layout is visually defined, allowing for a more engaging experience of the spaces, their relationships to one another, and in particular, the beautiful views framed by the careful placement of windows and openings.

To follow up with several recent posts on photography and construction, we thought we'd share this fantastic photo taken by our client recently at the jobsite for our Fullerton custom residence.

MYD Construction: Fullerton Framing

We're here today with a construction progress update for a currently ongoing project- our contemporary single family custom residence in Fullerton, Orange County. After breaking ground a couple months ago, we shared a post on the grading at the site, highlighting images of the newly-poured foundation at this unique lot with great views, maximized by the orientation and layout of the spacious floor plan.

With the concrete set and construction moving along, framing began not too long ago, with most, if not all, of the first floor completed at this stage in the process.
