The upper level addition provides for a generous new master suite, along with stair access to the expansive new roof deck which enjoys beautiful views of the Pacific.

At the exterior, a black and white palette of smooth stucco, wide horizontal siding and metal railings reflect the contemporary coastal aesthetic and visually ties the new architectural massing to the existing structure.

At the front, vertical cedar siding further connects the architectural elements at the sloping site, while accenting the entry, as well as providing scale and texture at the main access.

With cascading front steps and landscaping to come, the exterior design will further respond to and reflect the topography of the sloping corner property, softening and framing the new contemporary building palette.
